I just came across this article at one of my favorite websites: Science Daily. Personally, I like reading this site because it makes me feel hopeful and inspired! There's so much wonderful and astounding research going on across so many disciplines: it makes me think about how resourceful and helpful we can truly be with each other, and the positive possibilities of the world we can create, if we try.
This is an article that seems to give scientific backing to the fact that choosing to practice a loving & kind outlook can improve your mood & brain health - and how making comparisons with others about yourself doesn't. I offer it as some food-for-thought. Hope you enjoy:
